If this sticks he will get jail time. He's on a 19 year suspended sentence now.
He should be in jail for a long time.  The guy is a headcase.

In some form or another, absolutely. The guy is a danger to those around him.

He needs proper mental health care.  The boxing industry should pay for it, but I bet that won't happen.

Itís all one side of the story for now. You can get arrested just based on accusation, even if it isnít true.

Letís see How it plays out.
There's some truth to that but the guy has a history. A pretty ugly history. The guy shot his cousin and then pulled an AK an a 5y/o. Thats pretty crazy shit. This doesnt seem out of line at all. Your "waiting how it plays out" attitude is why Taylor isn't in jail already. Some people need to see another guy hit rock bottom i guess.

Former middleweight boxing champion Jermain Taylor is accused of knocking a woman unconscious multiple times and threatening to kill her while holding a knife at her throat, according to a police report released Thursday.

Taylor, 40, was arrested Wednesday on charges of third-degree domestic battery and aggravated assault on a family or household member.

The police report states the woman, Taylor and neighbors were drinking outside a home on Azalea Drive and the woman went to go get more alcohol. When she returned with more alcohol, one of the neighbors thanked her and she replied "Anytime," which reportedly angered Taylor.

The victim told police Taylor accused her of being unfaithful and they started arguing in the bedroom.

During the argument, he reportedly hit her numerous times, causing her to temporarily lose consciousness. When she came to, the victim says he held a knife at her and threatened to kill her. The victim says he also slammed her into the wall repeatedly until she lost consciousness again.

Police say Taylor was uncooperative when they arrived and they found his knife hidden behind a TV in the bedroom.

The victim, who had minor injuries to her chin, mouth, neck and right arm, was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Taylor was booked in the Pulaski County jail at 5:06 p.m.

Incorrect.

Regardless of someoneís history, in America, someone is innocent until proven guilty.

Just because you were a thief doesnít mean itís true every time someone blames you for their stuff going missing.

This isn't that type of case though. No one is trying to find out WHO put the knife to this lady or who beat her up.  I don't think you read the story.

Itís an ACCUSATION at this point.

Due process will either confirm itís truth or discover falsehood.

Wait and see.

Iím leaning with he did it. Sounds like a classic jealousy case. Alcohol was involved and she probably got a bit flirty with someone else.

But you shouldnít declare someone guilty until itís proven.
