Roach has not talked to Pacman in Months and pac couldnt even call roach after his bro died. What kinda heartless act is that? Roach has went to pacs birthdays has sent messages when pac was sick and pac cannot even send this man a condolence call?

i like how Freddie is so no nonsense.

He is also the games best trainer, bar none.

He made pac into what he is now. while Pac may have been able to dominate at 130, there is no way he would have become the finely tuned assassin that he is now with any other trainer. And Roach is doing wonders for Khan as well and has alos done a tremendous job with James toney.

Roach has been hit hard. He, as much as anyone else, is responsible for the smart management decisions in Manny's career - not Pac's so called "manager." Pac is almost like Tyson in this regard. the only difference being that Roach has protected him and looked out for him, whereas no one did that for Mike.

Pac is getting a little big-headed and that alwasy spells trouble. Yet, everyone gets that way from time to time and there is more than adequate time for Pac to get into perfect form and not overtrain.

Roach just lost his brother and that would understandably make him not even want to get up in the morning, much less be tactful about any delicate team relationship matters. He may have given Cotto's team a huge confidence boost as well.

that said, I doubt Pac even heard much about Roach's brother through his filter of yes-men and hangers-on. Now that he is in the states, things should get put into better perspective.

He looks decently fit already, so I don't think he is taking this fight as lightly as some suggest. Still, Cotto seems far more hungry and determined and he is the guy already holding the significant advantages. This is the one fight where Manny could simply end up just getting the crap beat out of him in short order. I like Manny - especially since he is always beign unjustly criticized for being so good and beating everyone's favorite fightes and the losers act like he owes them something. Still, I cannot for the life of me understand that logic in making this fight with Cotto. Manny came up from 108. Cotto started at 140 and is a monstrous welter. Pac is even small at 130, let alone 147 or whatever ridiculous catchweight this fight is at. Cotto fighting at 143 or less is ideal for Pac. 145 is nothing. if anything, Miguel may come in even better shape from having to make the weight.

pac and Cotto both have good chins. Cotto is much stronger, nuch larger. Both have good stamina and both have good power. Pac is more explosive, but cotto's punches have more thud.

We will see. Still think this whole thing is just crazy though...
