The invasion of Iraq had little to do with Isreal. We invaded and are now occupying Iraq to establish a Military presence in the region. Though Iraq had nothing to do wtih 911, Pakistan and Afghanastan and many Saudi Arabia and the like breed terrorist that want to destroy America. We wanted a military state there that was very friendly to us similar to South Korea where we still have many troops stationed. Iraq was the opportunity for this military state. Not to mention having a stronghold near Iran. It was all about Miiltary presence and not about Isreal at all.
