TYSON'S TOUR HITS TURMOIL
By David Anderson 7/11/2009 Mike Tyson's British tour was last night thrown into chaos when he cancelled an appearance in Belfast at the last minute. Punters had paid up to £200 for VIP tickets for 'an Evening with Mike Tyson' at the Waterfront Hall, where he was due to appear with Mirror Sport columnist Barry McGuigan. A spokesperson for Jimmy Clyne Promotions said: "The Belfast show has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, but the Essex and Cardiff shows are going ahead as planned." The sudden cancellation of the Belfast show comes after many punters were left unhappy by Tyson's first event at Wolverhampton Civic Hall on Wednesday. Punters complained the evening was a farce and that they did not sit down to their food until 11.30pm. Tyson's tour continues tonight at the Five Lakes Arena in Essex.
