OK here we go.  Dawson comes out feinting.  Dawson jabs to the body.  Hopkins pawing with his jab now.  Hopkins lands the lead right hand with the head following the shot.  Dawson reaches with the right.  Misses another right hand.  Hopkins lands to the body now.  Dawson jabs now.  Dawson misses the body shot now.  Hopkins again with the lead right and the head following it.  Dawson jabs well.  Hopkins circling.  Nice right by Hopkins lands.  Then holds.  Nice left by Dawson lands.  Dawson misses a left.  Nice hook by Hopkins on the inside.

ROUND 2

Dawson jabs.  Hopkins leads with the right but misses.  Dawson's punches falling short.  Dawson misses the jab.  Nice right by Hopkins.  Dawson bulls Hopkins into the ropes now.  Dawson missing the jab.  Hopkins ties him up now.  Hopkins misses a lead right then pushes Dawson to the ground.  Correctly ruled a slip by the ref.  Nice right to the body by Hopkins.  Dawson misses a big left.  They tie up now.  They trade jabs now.  Dawson lands a left hand.  Not hard.  Hopkins misses a right and pushed Dawson's head down. DAWSON PICKS HIM UP AND TOSSES HIM TO THE CANVAS!!!!  HOPKINS IS STAYING DOWN!!!!  Looks like Hopkins's shoulder is injured.  

THE FIGHT IS STOPPED!!!!!!

THE REF RULED IT A TKO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  

THE REF IS SAYING HE CALLED "NO FOUL"!!!!!!

It was a weird fight to say the least and ended with Chad Dawson defeating Bernard Hopkins with a second round TKO. Controversial? You bet. See the main page for more on this fight.

After the fight, Chad Dawson called out Jean Pascal in front of the TV audience. " I want Pascal," Dawson told TV commentator, Max Kellerman.

Kellerman then asked: "How about a rematch with Bernard Hopkins?"

Dawson responded by stating: "Rematch for what!?" Dawson was clear he wanted to give Hopkins no rematch.

wow that is freaking lame imhfo..... should have at least went to the scorecards if anything..

it should be NO contest! referee doesnt know about boxing ...
