Maccarinelli wins British title
Enzo Maccarinelli clambered off the canvas twice to win the British cruiserweight title with a unanimous points victory over Shane McPhilbin.
The Welshman was put down in the first and third round but showed admirable resilience to not only take the fight the distance but win it.
The former WBO champion, 31, was given the decision 115-111 116-111 115-110 on the judges' cards as he fulfilled a career ambition by winning his first British title.
Maccarinelli had to do without trainer Enzo Calzaghe, who was not be allowed in his fighter's corner after having his training licence withdrawn by the BBBC.

I'm amazed Warren is allowing Enzo to fight on his watch...the man is a bad accident waiting to happen.
He has quite possibly got the worst P4P chin of all in boxing - i'm not one for stopping a man making his livelyhood, but he really shouldnt have a licence.
