University student Mohammed Faisal has been handed the opportunity of a lifetime after he was handed the chance to head to Las Vegas to train alongside undefeated American legend Floyd Mayweather.
The 22-year-old amateur boxer was invited to a special Team Money Mayweather training camp last summer after they saw video's of him in action and it seems he suitably impressed his American counterparts.
The fighter known as 'Fes Batsista' has now been invited to return to Floyd Mayweather's gym in Las Vegas where he will spend two months training alongside a stable of highly regarded boxers.
“I couldn’t believe that they would have an interest in me. My world has been turned upside down since," Faisal told the Crewe Chronicle. “Floyd is one of the greatest boxers ever and someone who I look up to so it felt great to meet him and see how hard he trains.
“The Mayweathers understand I’m at university and they respect that so they said I must come for a minimum of two months this summer for an intense training camp which will include sparring, pad work, bag work and maybe even a chance to spar with some of their world champions or Olympic boxers.
“My immediate focus is getting my body in top condition. I want to have experience of 30 to 50 fights before turning professional. I want a positive amateur record. The long-term aim is to move to America," added the Cheshire university student.
“I speak regularly with the Mayweathers and the rest of the Money Team. They are constantly giving me advice. With their help I know I can become world champion one day. It’s a long road away but I can do it.”
Faisal only turned to boxing just over three years ago after he became inspired his his close friend Amir Khan. Since then he has had six amateur bouts n the 69kg division and has won them all.

I heard Lee Selby is sparring with Gamboa also at Mayweathers gym. Good on them for opening their doors to British talent and to Selby for having the nuts to take himself put of his comfort
Zone and learn from the best.
