3 rounds to 2 Franklin, in my opinion.

Had trouble predicting who would win the fights tonight on this card. Didn't watch TUF Brazil really so I had no idea who any of the guys were and how good they were. I already forgot who won the contracts to be honest.

Werdum was about as dominant as I expected. Werdum should be the next guy in line for a title shot after JDS-Cain 2. If JDS is still the champion, he definitely won't be having as quick of a night against Werdum as he did last time around.

Franklin-Silva 2 was a much more tactical fight this time around. Not surprising since it was a 5 round fight. Other than the last minute of round 2, Franklin looked great considering he hasn't fought in over a year. He managed to outstrike and control Silva for 24 minutes of that fight. Also got to give him props for surviving that onslaught at the end of the second, I honestly thought it was all over for Rich at that point but he held on.

Wanderlei didn't look bad, but he showed against Franklin that he basically had a one punch chance to win the fight. He landed his big punch and had one minute to win the fight and after it passed he went back to getting roped by Franklin.

If Sonnen gets back Anderson at UFC 148, you can bet 100% that UFC will book Sonnen vs Franklin for the title. Sonnen is Franklin's best chance for Rich to win the title again.

I know I am not the only one who thinks these cards get more and more watered down as time goes by.

Pretty much. Its a consequence of having so many PPV's and fight cards.

Kind of.

Your 135, 145, and 170 champs have all been injured.  That waters things down quite a bit.

I would like to see them consolidate the better matches from a couple PPV cards into one card, to get more bang for the buck, and put more of the mediocre match ups on regular TV

There have been some stinker cards lately, but the injuries have ruined the main events.  When the events were booked, and tickets sold, they were solid.

Aldo and Vitor going down really hurt 147.  Affected 148 moving Franklin off of the undercard... although I expect 148 is gonna kick as$ regardless.
