I've just re-watched and in fact there was probably a good argument for a knock down Corrie never got. Vitali was damn lucky that bell went.

I used to always go on about how I thought Vitali was the best chance for Haye,  whilst everyone was going on about Wlad's chin I was saying you the smaller heavies don't get many chances at landing on his chin were as Vitali is a lot more open for someone as fast as Haye.

Mind you, I do think it was Vitalis own stupidity and hubris that walked him into that shot of Sanders. He clearly sized him up skill-wise and dismissed the man, forgetting that under the slightly bizarre physique and style not normally associated with a prime world class HW, lay a P4P top 10 devastating left hook. After the wake up call he screwed the head on stopped the bullying and started the boxing.

You have to wonder what might have become of Sanders if he'd be born in the states, picked up with a top trainer and not taken a liking for golf.

Haye has the power to KO Vitali, and if they ever fight I think he will. Wladamir schools Haye 9 times out of 10, his defence is too solid with his added size advantages and spoiling tactics. Vitali comes to fight which will be his downfall against a big counter puncher like Haye.
