I've just re-watched and in fact there was probably a good argument for a knock down Corrie never got. Vitali was damn lucky that bell went.

I used to always go on about how I thought Vitali was the best chance for Haye, whilst everyone was going on about Wlad's chin I was saying you the smaller heavies don't get many chances at landing on his chin were as Vitali is a lot more open for someone as fast as Haye.

That's a big left hand right there and he took albeit on wobbly legs for a few seconds. It got really ugly for Sanders after that.
A 41 slower reflexes Vitali.......against a prime very fast and very heavy handed Haye.....I'm just saying. Plus Haye knows how to finish.
Mind you, I do think it was Vitalis own stupidity and hubris that walked him into that shot of Sanders. He clearly sized him up skill-wise and dismissed the man, forgetting that under the slightly bizarre physique and style not normally associated with a prime world class HW, lay a P4P top 10 devastating left hook. After the wake up call he screwed the head on stopped the bullying and started the boxing.
You have to wonder what might have become of Sanders if he'd be born in the states, picked up with a top trainer and not taken a liking for golf.

Without a doubt. The class difference was there, however the point was that Vitalis chin was not impregnable to a powerful shot. And that was in his prime.

My biggest issue with Sanders is how he pissed away the momentum he built after smoking Wlad. He turned down Tua twice and sat around waiting.
Sanders could have been somebody very special in the boxing world if he had been willing to dedicate himself more.

Haye has the power to KO Vitali, and if they ever fight I think he will. Wladamir schools Haye 9 times out of 10, his defence is too solid with his added size advantages and spoiling tactics. Vitali comes to fight which will be his downfall against a big counter puncher like Haye.
