Kessler Rubbishes Froch's Claims

CARL FROCH has been labelled crazy for believing George Groves is a spy in his camp.

The IBF world super-middleweight champ takes on Mikkel Kessler at London’s O2 Arena on Saturday with the Dane’s WBA belt also on the line.
Froch, 35, was furious when told former training partner Groves was helping Kessler prepare with sparring sessions in Copenhagen.
The Nottingham fighter, who is of Polish heritage, accused Commonwealth champ Groves of being disloyal to a fellow Brit.
But Kessler, 34, blasted: “Everybody seems to have forgotten I am half English and my mum lives in Salisbury with my brother.
“I’ve had some Polish sparring partners too. Froch is part Polish — does that mean they have been disloyal to him by also sparring with me?

Eddie Hearn: Froch v Kessler is a 50-50 fight

PROMOTER is expecting a tight encounter in Saturday's world title bout at the O2 Arena

“It was purely a boxing decision to get Groves and Nathan Cleverly to come to Denmark and spar me.
“There was nothing sinister. We could have been afraid to use George or Nathan as they might have passed on tips to Froch.
“I wasn’t trying to get into Carl’s head, there is no need.”
Kessler, who beat Froch on points in 2010, arrived in England on Monday and headed to a gym in Vauxhall, South London where Groves works out with stablemate David Haye.
The Dane added: “I said I would give Carl a rematch.
“Carl was in Denmark last time so I have to go and fight him in England and show I am a man, not a chicken.”

For some reason I'm starting to lean towards Kessler via stoppage, the closer we get to the fight. Think that's about 4/1.

I like both guys but I'm hoping for a Kessler win. No need to hope for a great fight because that's a lock.
