Scott Quigg will ignore Kid Galahad's calls for a British battle after Shingo Wake pulls out

Scott Quigg is waiting for a new opponent after Shingo Wake pulled out, but will not be defending his WBA super-bantamweight title against British rival Kid Galahad.

The Bury fighter was due to put his belt on the line against Wake on the undercard of Nathan Cleverly’s rematch with Tony Bellew on November 22, live on Sky Sports Box Office.

An ankle injury has ruled out the Japanese, forcing Quigg to face a replacement for the third successive bout, but he will ignore Galahad’s calls for a domestic showdown....

Probably too difficult to make at short notice, considering they are promoted differently.

Politics being what they are, they probably won't happen in the long term either, but that's less understandable. :D

Heard Dubai being mentioned as a venue for a fight hundreds of times through the years, and not once has a big fight in Dubai come off.
