Bernard Hopkins’ 10 Greatest Post-40 Feats

Win, lose, or draw against Sergey Kovalev this coming Saturday, November 8, Bernard Hopkins should receive the praise and acclaim his 26 years in the sport deserves. It has been said that the fighter once known as “The Executioner” and now known as “The Alien” has distinguished himself to such a great degree in two different weight classes that, perhaps, two separate Hall of Fame inductions wouldn’t be out of the question.

Whatever you think about that, you can’t deny this man’s absolutely stellar achievements and his current unreal run as a fighter just two months away from his 50th birthday.

I agree he has done some great things in his career. but he hasn't always been so impressive. greatness in his case is objective to a extent. not that what he did is not great cause it is. its just how he did it was a lot of the time ugly and boring. john ruiz had some solid wins but most of us would say we are glad we don't have to watch him one two hug for twelve rounds. to me this is hopkins in a different boring style that fails to have the kind of action boxing fans want to see.
