Manny Pacquiao: 'I want that fight'

Updated: November 13, 2014, 5:42 PM ETBy Dan Rafael | ESPN.com

Welterweight titleholder Manny Pacquiao is in the final preparations for his upcoming defense against junior welterweight titlist Chris Algieri, but he made it clear what he wants next should he be victorious.

"I do have one specific goal, and that is to give the boxing fans the fight they have always asked for," Pacquiao said this week. "I want that fight [with Floyd Mayweather Jr.], too."

Pacquiao, who regained his 147-pound title from Timothy Bradley Jr. with a resounding unanimous decision in their rematch on April 12 -- two years after Bradley claimed the belt via highly controversial split decision -- will face Algieri on Nov. 22 (HBO PPV, 9 p.m. ET) at the Cotai Arena at the Venetian Macao in Macau, China....

From what? When was the last time you heard that Arum made a serious offer?

Why wouldn't arum want manny to fight floyd? Why wouldn't manny want to fight floyd? He has nothing to lose.. Win or lose his people will still support him and he knows that.

Only one guy has persistently said his health is most important and his decision trumps what the fans want. Only one guy is ready to fire anyone from his team whom mentions this fight... Why are floyd fan boys so blind? Damn.

Floyd is  the one that picks his opponents and makes offers.

Which side do you think holds all the cards to make this happen?

And there it is.   Simply put....if Floyd truly wants a fight, he makes it happen.  Period.  Like the way he hounded Oscar for that fight.

I blame manny for the initial negotiations though I'm convinced floyd would have found another loophole to avoid the fight..

I blame floyd at this current juncture.
