Bradley ready for Chaves' dirty tactics

When welterweight contender Diego Chaves faced Brandon Rios in August in Las Vegas, Chaves was disqualified in the ninth round of what had been a dirty fight filled with fouls from both men.

There were elbows and head-butts and holding and wrestling. You name it, although at the exact moment referee Vic Drakulich ended the fight, Chaves had not done anything specifically illegal to force his hand.

Nonetheless, it went down as a disappointing loss for Chaves, who was ahead by 75-74 on two scorecards and trailing by the same score on the other scorecard.

Now Chaves (23-2, 19 KOs), 28, a former interim welterweight titlist from Argentina, is back in Las Vegas for his next fight. Former welterweight titleholder Timothy Bradley Jr., looking to rebound from a decision loss in his April rematch with Manny Pacquiao, said he is ready for the rough stuff when he and Chaves meet in the 12-round main event of a tripleheader on Saturday night (HBO, 10 ET/PT) at the Cosmopolitan...
