Boxing in 2015: Floyd Mayweather must fight Manny Pacquiao and look out for Terence Crawford

Gareth A Davies outlines his manifesto for the sport, key dates and ones to watch

By Gareth A Davies, Telegraph

1. Get the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight signed. It’s time for the sanctioning bodies, promoters and television companies to call a truce so that Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao finally face each other in a boxing ring. If not, it will only underline to the sports world that boxing cannot be policed, and can be predicated around greed. In other sports, we are guaranteed to see the best compete against the best. 5. maybe a deontay wilder fight stateside is viable. aside from that germany it is for now.

6. ppv should be big big massive fights and not fucking bellew-clev. goes without saying really.

7. another company who knows it don't make dollars & cents. :P

8. dream on gareth. :D

9. judging is very subjective. a judge being held to more account is never a bad thing of course.
