Brian Halquist Productions Announces 2015 Schedule

Tacoma, Washington (January 16, 2015) After an incredible 2014, Brian Halquist Productions started off the new year with an incredible night of fights at Battle at the Boat 99 with Mike Gavronski stealing the show, defeating Dashon Johnson in an energetic 10 round main event this past weekend. The Pacific Northwest ‘s premier combat sports promoter, is primed and ready for an even bigger 2015.  

The last year has seen some incredible action from the Emerald Queen Casino in Tacoma, with both Battle at the Boat boxing and CageSport MMA showcasing the absolute best up and coming local talent.

Battle at the Boat has consistently produced great fights over the past 12 months and is only getting better, with top local talents such as Mike Gavronski, Jeremy McCleary and Marcelino Pineda leading the way. Northwest fight fans have witnessed incredible bouts and thrilling knockouts leaving the Emerald Queen Casino showroom buzzing. March 28th 2015 will bring Battle at the Boat 100 to the EQC, and the promotion has big plans to celebrate its remarkable 100th show.

This past year has brought with it new and exciting opportunities to the CageSport promotion as well. The northwest’s leader in MMA announced it’s partnership with Super Fight League, Asia’s largest MMA organization in October and went on to produce two of the best, most talked about event’s in the promotions history. With over 85,000 viewers watching the live stream on YouTube, the world has embraced Super Fight League America with open arms.

In October, SFL America crowned their first two champions, as a pair of Californians, Victor Henry and Colleen Schneider captured the SFLA men’s and women’s 135lb. Championships on the same night. The second event in December featured two more belts up for grabs, this time in the men’s Welterweight and Lightweight Divisions. The welterweight bout was one for the ages, as Ben Fodor a.k.a. the Seattle Superhero Phoenix Jones battled Enumclaw’s Tyson Cunningham to a draw. Meanwhile, Julian Erosa left no doubt in the lightweight division, beating Harrison Bevens by a stunning second round knockout.

Looking to the future, Brian Halquist Productions will continue to promote the absolute best local boxing and MMA talent throughout the New Year, with a complete schedule of Battle at the Boat and Super Fight League America events, all live from the Emerald Queen Casino.
