mellow.gif U will be hard pressed to get responses that support your decision. Sure, the shite works. Is it worth the risk? U planning on making money with your body in sports? U fear for your life every day and need to get big for..intimidation? Sam Colt solved the problem of being afeard of big men..u shoot the cacksuckers. If not, why bother. Eat, rest , work out correctly

If you do juice, let us know what happens eh..your moods, the gains..how does having smaller nuts work for ya, whats it like fondling your bitch tits...stuff like thet.

Its a shame your thinking about getting on the roids mate. Its only my opinion but I reckon that takes you away from the sporting mindset that athletes/sports people have. I know you still have to train hard and that but the speeded up results mean you don't gain the patience you need to have in a sport. Why not take up a sport like boxing/kickboxing competitvely? There would be many more gains both physically and psychologcally to training adn doing that. It is your choice and it would be good if like Rat the Grey said you keep us posted. I hope your find yourself man and all the best.

Good thread,

Mate im in the same mind as you.
Ive been lifting weights whilst running daily for the last 6 years.
So its not like IVe been a meat head. Just someone who likes to stay fit.

But I joined a commercial gym 18 months ago and I have seen how steroids are rife.

I have seen skinny milky bar like kids come in 18 lanky and shit and go on the juice and after seeing them again 6 months they are built and look like matt hughes.

There is so much of it around and i see your temptation.

Seeing these pricks motivated me to concentrate on strength and i have to tell u bro, what they say about a good protein shake, rest and regular training is true.

Without any kind of creatine (which is overrated and makes me lightheaded and fatter) I did a good clean weights cycle for 3 months (no cardio other than 1 x 2 mile run a week) and I increased by bench from 90kg on average 6-7 reps up to 90kg 13-12 reps and 100kg bench on average 6-7 reps without any juice and creatine.

Still I dont like that much bigger and i got to tell u those punks who take the juice I have seem them look the part even if their strength and cardio is dire.

A close friend of mine was quite strong, but he looked weak. He took steroids on a continuos cycle for 12 months plus and i saw how he changed.
He walked out on his wife and kids, and started getting mood swings and fighting. He dyed his hair blonde (ps he;s indian) and started hanging out in shopping malls trying to chat up teenagers. All fine pursuits except he is 35 and has a teenage daughter himself. I have seen how he has a new girlfriend every month, I have seen how his brainis fucked and he has acne on his back. His eyebrows seem more thick and his hands bigger.

He is also seeing a counselling group for therapy.

Still his is an extreme example of what I have seen. The other guys got bigger without me seeing any erratic behaviour.

Great post and much respect to you for not going the easy route with the roids Mugabi. In life much is the temptation to choose the endulgance of the toy rather than take the responsibilty of the sword. (Those familiar with Samurai tradition will know what Im on about).

Hope you make the right choice for yourself Zoron, all the best and let us know how you get on.

Peace

To me, the only reason steroids is even close to being justified is if you make a living off your body in some form or another and you're willing to take the risk to make a living.

I would advise a less dramatic alternative, "Jungle Warfare." I've had good experiences with it.

i say go for it..

Jungle warfare is a term used to cover the special techniques needed for military units to survive and fight in jungle terrain. It has been the topic of extensive study by military strategists, and was an important part of the planning for both sides in many conflicts, including the Vietnam War and World War II.

you just cant do it one time, you have to keep on doin it and then your I put my balls on EBAY and got no takers. will look like a kittens. I take some dura for my rotator injury but if you want to lift you have to stack them to get the full effect. Some testoterone, deca but then you lose hair and get acne bad. But yeah youll get cut up. I dont need roids to get big, my bone structure is broad so just lift will be enough for me.

The worst thing is that skinny runt about 18 who started doing the steds. He walks around the gym now looking like a pumped up gorilla (imagine a blond matt hughes but bigger) and telling other kids how he drinks 2 cans of neutrament a day etc etc. blah blah blah Im such a natural etc.

When he was skinny and in his first month of training pre steroids. He approached me for advice. I see him 6 months later when he's on steroids and he knows it and i know it he's on the juice. But he goes out of his way to avoid a conversation with me cos he knows I know unlike the other johhny come lately punks in that gym.

i personally would never take steroids, but then i dont do weight lifting, i just box. if you're willing to take the risks, then do it, but dont do it just because you're getting envious of someone who is doing good because of the juice, because who knows it might have bad effects on him and he might wish he never took it.

i understand why proffesional weight lifters take juice because it's a source of income and to compete with the best then juice half the time seems to be the only way, but doing it just because someone is doing good is not a good enough reason IMO for something like steroids. that's just my opinion.

What are you in training for? If it's vanity, than it's a stupid idea. Unless you're ready to put down some real cash you'll be playing with your health. A clean diet and cardio will cut you up. If it's for performance it's even more dangerous to your health. People like Marion Jones & Barry Bonds have a lot of supervision while using.

Again, great comment! Sport is about what you do not what you look like (Unless its body building or an aestheic art). Unfortunately many people these days mistake vanity with function.
