True saty outside and dont fight on the inside, i am impressed with Jesse, i knew he is tought, but i didnt think he could take cintrons power.
Go Jesse, he has plenty of heart.

Whenever Cintron pumps that straight jab in his face, he has success. It sets up his big stuff. He keeps letting this guy get inside and outwork him. Jesse is also landing some big stuff that is making Cintron step back. I'm supprised, very supprised.

If Cintron had just invested to the body more in this fight, he would have gotten him out of there a long time ago.

I didn't like that stoppage... I have to see the replay

it was quick.....if the guy is still standing up...the ropes are not holding him up.....its hard to justify a stoppage.

Cintron is sayin he hurt his hand in the first round.

He took his power the whole fight... He was still standing in the middle of the ring. Maybe a few more punches would have justified the stoppage.... I thought it was too quick.

I dont know about that. It didnt seem as though he was fighting with a broken hand.

Not that impressed with Cintron to be honest. I thought he might have hurt his right hand in the second round. ....Oh, Cintron said he hurt his hand in the first round.....Anyway, it was a tougher fight than Cintron expected, that's for sure. His hand being hurt isn't good news for the possible showdown with Williams. Cintron didn't look that good tonight. He couldn't keep Feliciano off of him.

I tend to believe him. He was throwing almost primarily left hooks for a while after the moment in the 2nd round where I thought he hurt his hand. I dunno. It looked to me like he wasn't throwing the right as much as he could. Regardless, it was still a mediocore performance by Cintron. He should have been able to control Feliciano with only a jab anyway.

I know i was very impressed with Feliciano too.
I liked his post fight interview too.

It was just one of those ugly fights that good fighters run into from time to time... I really believe in Cintron's talent. One thing that supprised me was how he was fighting this guy. People bring in Steward to polish great talent... I expected a power jab and a bit of boxing from Cintron in the beginning, mixing in some solid hooks to the body. He just sat on the inside and took punches all night. It was rediculous.

That's the thing. Cintron should have made it an easy fight. He had the big reach advantage. If he is this much improved boxer, it didn't show tonight. Ya better believe that Steward was getting nervous in the corner also. After round 6 he told Cintron that Feliciano was going to tire. Then, after the next round, Manny totally changed his mind and told Cintron that he had to box him and use the jab. A jab is the best weapon in boxing. Tonight, Cintron didn't use it nearly enough and I really thought Cintron underwhelmed. I expected much more.

Cintron let Feliciano fight on the inside way too much.
