i have managed to drop 55 kilos this year (over 11 months) and am just short of the crusier weight division but i am still would like to drop 10 - 15 kilos. the trouble i am having is i need a diet that wont effect my energy. i normal workout for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours a day 6 days a week mixing running or cross trainer with a boxing workout (45-60 mins on the different bags and shadow boxing with weights) but i have been suffering as i dont eat much and feel tired quite easily. i am 37 years old 1.87 and 105kilos what should i be eating a day to still lose weight but not feel drained.

That's a hell of alot of weight to lose in 11 months. No wonder you are feeling weak. I would slow down on the weight loss personally. Don't know enough to help you with your diet.

Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast, Tuna, Wheat Bread Potatoes, Easy on Noodles; Fruits, Vegetables, Vitamins and rice is good. Also, eat 5 smaller meals a day as opposed to 3 big ones, and always eat breakfast as breakfast is the meal that jump starts your metabolism and keeps it high.

Fish too... Lots of fish, and Beef cuts like sirloins and filets that are not very fatty cuts.

Stay away from Strips and Ribeyes, as those are fatty cuts of meat.

Noodles have a lot of Carbs in them. 2 oz of cooked pasta has 42g of Carbohydrates.

There may be organic pastas that have less though.

You ever take a look @ those prepackaged pasta & rice joints *i.e. the lipton ones*. One serving is 300 calories. One freakin' serving

Geez...If you really want to get calories, eat an MRE...

Carbs actually aren't that bad as long as you work them off. Not saying a high carb diet is healthy because it is not but if you say eat a Met-Rx power bar that is 42grams of Carbs and 32 grams of Protein (it is 400 calories) a few hours before a workout (as a meal replacement) it can actually be good for you because it will help you gain muscle if your into lifting that is.

If your just going for the cardio deal then I guess low Carbs is best.

I have been doing a different routine myself when it comes to eating. I will eat mostly low carbs (Chicken or Turkey salad for lunch and dinner normally) but a few hours before I workout at night I will eat a power bar to get my carbs and a high amount of protein in me. I read its a good idea if your trying to gain muscle mass.

most of the things i've been doing is thing with push-ups with different levels, such as starting in the pushup position on sitting chairs and dropping down, then springing back up. that along has up'd my bench press a lot. my other fav is using the lat pull down machine with my knees where people put their ass and my feet underneath the part that holds down the legs. i do it for the hamstrings and raise up until it looks like i'm sitting on my knees on the machine. doing a few sets of those when i do my legs is greatly upping my running speed on the bball court. i've always been quick, but now i'm running past people when running down the court..

how about you?

I've never heard of that...@ all, but it really sounds effective. I'm trying to picture the move; so you're not facing the machine, and you're pulling it down and slowly allowing it back up? I was doing something similar with the push-ups on different levels, but I used the stability ball *may have the name wrong* user posted image. I'd take my left hand and place it on the ball, and explode up out of the push up position, once in the air; switching to the right hand. I get weird looks with that one...and I'd get a medicine ball, go into the squat position and hoist it as high as I could underhanded into the air, I'd use the smith machine and bring the weight down dramatically. Bring it to my chest and then fire it up as quickly as possible, let it fall until my arms were parallel to the floor, and then repeat. My routine was getting a bit boring is why I was asking what you were doing
