But after he does light weights he could do heavier weights then a bit heavier and then lighter again, it's called tricking your muscles, body builders do that, it's believed that that builds bigger muscles than doing reps with just one weight, must be a pain in the butt though.
But who knows, doing a lot of reps of light weights could build big muscles, i heard a story that this guy built up his chest huge from just doing 300 push ups a day.
Thanks, good advice, doing none is probably best but light weights won't hurt, joe calzaghe doesn't do weights, he uses resistance bands set on a low resistance, in the old days they didn't do weights.
