The gym I've been going to for the past two years closed every location in my city. In each instance we were given no notice besides a note on the door when we arrived. They transferred our memberships to Gold's but they are lacking. The old place had heavy & speed bags, full basketball courts, along with the usual stuff. So now I had gone about three weeks w/o a workout. It's looking like I'll have to do it at home but fortunately I have some dumbbell and barbells at the crib, plus a sand pit in the back yard. With the back injury I sustained this could actually be a blessing in disguise. Maybe I needed to get away from the conventional methods, and try something a bit more subtle. So with all that being said I'm posting this to solicit ideas on working out from home. I have some general info available but I know we have some cats here with very in depth knowledge *um...this doesn't include you dap...sorry* ...so if you have any info...fire away. My primary goal is to strengthen my core to ward off the bad back vibes. Hopefully I can regain the explosiveness I had prior to the injury *strokes mustache* with you all's help.

supermans are a pretty good excercise for your back, as are planks.

my gym has the bands with handles with all different levels of resistance, i thought they were for old ladies for a long time but i've started using some of them and they've kicked my ass. i haven't seen a logo on them, but i know terrell owens sells some that are supposed to be pretty good, there's some videos on you tube of him with them. i don't think they're too expensive, and you can use them anywhere and they do work really well..

don't know much about the core except the basic stuff..
