Fedor, too big, too strong, too evenly matched at everything Silva has got except Fedor is the bigger and stronger guy. Good chance Vanderlei would get knocked out. Still anything can happen in a fight and Vanderlei has been too good too long for me to just say anyone will blow through him.

BOTH GUYS ARE IN DIFFERENT WEIGHT CLASSES BUT THEY HAVE A COMMON OPPONENT IN CROCOP. WITH BOTH OF THEM BEING SO DOMINANT IT WOULD BE NICE TO SEE THOUGH.

would be a great fight while it lasts....Vanderlei is one tough mofo so it might not be easy for the bigger stronger Fedor....Vanderlei defence is leaky and Fedor can thump....so I see Fedor getting the win here.....

Ain't happening, Fedor would be the HEAVY favorite and would likely hurt Silva pretty bad.

I don't think Fedor could come down to 205. LOL But yeah, Silva could probably bulk up to at least 215 or so. I think they should leave each other alone unless they just fight in an absolute weight class tournament. In those tournaments the smaller guy never has anything to feel ashamed about if he losses to the much larger guy.

The only way I see this happening is if Pride lets Silva do what he has been wanting to do and thats fight in the next HW Grand Prix. He wanted to fight in the last one. One thing I like about Silva and have always respected about him is he always wants to challenge himself. He did it against Cro Cop, he did it against Hunt so I know he wouldn't mind taking a crack at the Grand Prix. In the Grand Prix is where they could meet although odds are Silva would have to make it to the finals in order to face Fedor.

Those absolute divisions are always interesting. The Abu Dhabi has them every tournament and if a guy losses his weight class he can always try to win the absolute.

i think the real factor is speed, fedor is much faster than wanderlai despite his larger size.

This would be an awesome match up. Wandy has been wanting to go into the HW, so that Shogun can shine in MW. Wandy also walks around 220-230 when off fights, so I don't see him having a problem with that. He may be even better at HW! Plus, the guy can take a good punch! He was able to survive 3 flush power shots from Hunt in a row! Come on, that's got to count for something!!!

I actually met Silva in Tokyo last weekend in the Ropungee(I don't know how to spell it) district inside a club....I accidentally bumped into him and it felt like I bumped into a wall he's pretty solid and can't dance worth $h!t, he can't stay on beat to save his life but he's a pretty cool guy....anyway Fedor would win

That's why pride needs a no weight limit grand prix. It would be awesome. I wish there was some kind of mma tournament you know no UFC no Pride just the best fighters in the world facing off for like 10 mil that one be geat. That way all these mythical matchups could happen.
