i thought the stoppage was way too early. i'm all for protecting fighters, but ian john lewis jumped the gun there.

it was almost like an ending to an amateur contest, a couple of big punches and he jumped in and fucking stopped it.

corcoran deserved more than that in a british title fight.

thought the stoppagge may have been a little early but corcorran was sent reeling to the ropes twice in about 30 seconds from johanssons punches so i dont think we can complain that much.i've always thought johannson has looked class but his chin will always be questioned after the way he got banged out by that russian fella.

Let's face it, Johanneson was landing bombs and landing em with a fair degree of accuracy.
At the time the ref stepped in Corcoran was done in. He lost every round and he looked like he'd lost his heart too.

corcoran was still trying to fight back at the time of the stoppage, he weren't fucking out of it.

johanneson won and full respect to him. still an early stoppage though.

correct.corcarrans head was starting to fly back with every punch johansson landed.if he hadnt of stopped it then it would have only have been stoped nearer the end of the round or in the following round.cant see what the big problem is.

Seems nobody has picked up on this yet, but it looks like he is only a featherweight,if he was 9 stone last week. Needs to get down there as not a great defence and he cannot take those punches at that weight.

I gave Johanneson all three. Corcoran had no power and he was using his face to defend himself. I've seen fights where the ref has stepped in proper early but this guy would have only lasted another 10 seconds. Johanneson was just setting up when the ref stepped in. Corcorans arms and legs were all over the place and it would've been lights out.
