2 weeks ago I was in an amatuer show and was winning the fight. I got Hit on the button and went down. I got up on the count of 3 but my legs werent there and the ref stopped the fight. I found 2 days later that I fought with bronchatis and Strep Throat. I spar with good guys who hit like a hammers, and never been down. My confindence is shattered. What can I do

all you can do is train and dont fight or spar till you feel you're ready, not when people tell you you're ready. you still want to box dont you?

Your confidence should not be shattered cause u fought with 2 lines of sicknesses. I can see if you got knocked out if you were 100% fit but that is not the case. With bronchitis and strep throat, something was bound to happen. You`ll be ok.

Hey man, as strange as it may sounds its all experience, theres no reason why you should be less confident. As long as you understand why you got tagged and can from learn from it then you'll be o.k. Stay positive mate and keep training hard.

Man, keep your chin tucked at all times, do not back straight up, keep your hands up.
A thing that helps is build neck muscles, it reduces the shock upon impact.

take it slow. i wouldn't spar anytime soon. if you can study your fight that would be good. figure out why you got hit. work on your defense. next time, don't fight unless you are well prepared. never fight if you are sick, unless it's for a gold medal or a title.
